Thanks for stopping by! My name is Amy Santee. I am an applied anthropologist working in the field of design/user experience research. I live in the great city of Portland, OR, with my partner Isaac Sachs and our little herd of cats.
I started Anthropologizing after I finished grad school in 2011 because I wanted a place to talk about all things anthropology and my evolving understanding of how to apply it in the “real world.” My primary interests include design and user experience, business, applied anthropology, organizational culture, advocacy, jobs and careers, and American culture and society.
Curious about how the name “Anthropologizing” came to be? Click here for the story.
